    LONDON (AP) - A former Premier League footballer has been charged with conspiracy to commit bribery as part of an ongoing investigation into the fixing of lower-league football matches in England.The National Crime Agency says in a statement that Delroy Facey, a 34-year-old striker, has been charged ''on the basis that there is a realistic prospect of conviction'' following his arrest in November 2013. He will appear in court on Sept. 2.

    LONDON (AP) - Radamel Falcao is set to join Manchester United on loan after the Premier League club agreed to a loan deal with Monaco, a person with knowledge of the deal said Monday.The Colombia striker's season-long loan deal will cost United about $9 million and is subject to a medical examination and personal terms being agreed to, the person told The Associated Press. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the deal has not yet been completed.
